Dear Members of the Parish Community,
Over the years we have rarely had a fundraising event for the
Church. We have, in the main, depended on direct giving on the part
of parishioners to keep the parish running and to pay for the
necessary upkeep of the Church and the other property. We thank you
for your continuing support.
We need to have a fundraising event at this time. We have some
expenses and although we have finances relating to our new and
greatly approved parish pastoral centre an injection of funds would
be very much welcome.
In view of the fact that we havn’t been involved in fundraising for
more than five years and have supported many local organisations in
their fundraising events over the years, we anticipate that you will
help us out on this occasion.
We are having a raffle in June, with a draw with substantial prizes.
Members of the Parish Council will call to your door in the next few
weeks to sell tickets for the draw.
Tickets will also be on sale in the Parish Office.
We would greatly appreciate your support on this occasion.
