Senior Citizens Annual Christmas Party:

..will be held on Sunday January 17th 2010 at 4 p.m. in the Carlton Millrace Hotel. Full details later.


Kildavin/Clonegal GAA Club

3rd Annual Turkey Trot: A 7 km walk will be held on St Stephen’s Day at 11.00 a.m. starting at Kelly’s Whitemills car park. Assemble at 10.30 please.


Carols by Candlelight

An Advent Carol Service will be held in the Church of The Most Holy Trinity Bunclody on Sunday evening December 20th at 7.30p.m. Come and join us afterwards for a cup of tea in our new Pastoral Centre which is located at the rear of the church.


Bunclody Day Care Services:

The ‘Halloween Walk’ committee would like to thank most sincerely all who supported our recent walk. The massive sum of 6,000 was raised. All money will go towards the running costs of Bunclody Day Care Services. Wishing you all good health & happiness for Christmas and 2010.


Alcoholics Anonymous

..is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that may solve their common problem and help others to recover form Alcoholism. Local Meetings: are held on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 8.30 p.m. in Brennans’, Market Square , Bunclody.


Our Lady of Lourdes N.S.

.. has produced a special Christmas CD called Nollaig 2009 with singing music, poems and stories from all classes. The CD is now on sale at €5. All funds raised will go to the Bunclody Lions Club Christmas Appeal.


Bunclody District & Active Retired:

Membership Fee of €15 for the coming year is now due and will be collected at the next meeting on Jan. 4th or to the treasurer Joan Nally. For Members who are interested in going to the Strauss Gala Concert in the National Concert Hall tickets cost € 42 and bus €10. Early booking is required, contact Kathleen on 087 9623132.
