Retreat:

The Friars of Moyross ( from Limerick) will conduct a Retreat for: Young People( ages 16 - 35) in Clonard Church Wexford on Saturday 7th March from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. There is no charge …….. donation only. ( bring a light snack ……. and bring a few friends)

FERNS DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO LOURDES

May 17th - May 22nd 2009 Application Forms available in Bunclody Parish Office Assisted Pilgrim Section—Reminder ….. Re Application Forms! Application forms for the "Assisted Pilgrim Section" of the Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes must be returned by March 1st 2009. If you wish to have your name included in this section and do not have an application form you may obtain one by contacting the parish office at 053 9376190 or Fr. Martin Doyle ( Chaplain to this section) at 053 9147686. The theme of the Pilgrimage this year is … Bernadette Soubirous……...the person to whom the apparitions were made. The Church has declared her a Saint, not by virtue of apparitions, but because of her entire life.

Mass in Kilmyshall Church this week

Tuesday Feb.17th, Wednesday Feb.18th and Friday Feb.20th mass will be celebrated at the normal time. There will be no mass on Monday Feb.16th and Thursday Feb.19th.

St.John Bosco Christian Youth Group

..offers their sincere thanks for all the support received from everyone towards the Scotland Ski Trip. The Group leaves Sunday 15th Feb. and returns on 21st and asks for your prayers.

Kilmyshall N.S Enrolment

..for pupils 2009/2010 school year is currently taking place . Enrolment Forms, available from the school, should be returned as soon as possible and not later than March 2nd. Children starting must be 4 years of age by the date the school reopens after the summer recess.


Our Lady of Lourdes N.S. Enrolment

Irish Blood Transfusion Service:

Thank you to all who attended the Blood Clinic in the Millrace Hotel on January 28th last. It was our best attended clinic in Bunclody to date with a big number of first time donors.


Bunclody and District Active Retired:

The Irish Mental Health Association

..will hold a Church Gate Collection this weekend after all masses.


The Kildavin/Clonegal Drama Group

The Drama Group will stage "There goes the Bride" by Ray Cooney and John Chapman in Spellman Hall, Kildavin, on Friday 20th February and Sunday 22nd February at 8.00 p.m. nightly. All seats will be on a first come first served basis. Come along for a night of live entertainment at its best.

The Rehab Foundation

..are organising a number of Walks during 2009 and we would like to hear from any person interested in taking part in these Walks details as follows: Edinburgh Walk: this walk takes place from 13th — 16th May 2009. County Wexford Community Workshop:

The Chairman, Board of Directors, Trainees and Staff would like to sincerely thank you all for the very generous donation of € 531.15 on the weekend of their Church Gate Collection. The money received will go towards the further development of Day and Residential Services provided by Co. Wexford Community Workshop ( Enniscorthy) Ltd. to further assist and enhance the lives of People with Disabilities in the South East and across the County.


Mrs Quinn’s Charity Shop:

..we wish to send a good will message to all our customers who have helped us in our charity shop. We have moved premises to 5 Main St., Bunclody formerly known as Little Rascals. Please continue helping us to help the Blind. We have parking in the front of the shop and across for donations being delivered. Thank you from all at Mrs Quinns


The Bunclody Day Care Services Ltd.

 We would like to invite new members to attend the centre. The centre is now open on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week. All are welcome to join us for a cup of tea on either morning and we would be delighted if you continued to attend the centre. You may contact us on 053 9376552.  We are also at present re - evaluating the list of people who would like to apply for sheltered housing. Wexford Co. Council is at present re - assessing our application for the Housing Scheme. If you already occupy a County Council house this does not exclude you from applying under the Sheltered Housing Scheme. Anyone interested in applying for one of these houses should contact one of the people listed below. Confidentiality is guaranteed
