Ferns Youth Festival 2009

At Our Lady’s Island on 29th August at 7 p.m.

This festival has been organised by some of the young pilgrims who went to World Youth Day, in conjunction with some members of WYD committee. The evening will commence with Mass celebrated by Bishop Denis, after which there will be a candlelight procession around the island with our WYD Cross. This will then be followed by a free Christian rock concert by a very good band called "Elation". A barbeque will take place during the concert. It promises to be a very enjoyable evening for young adults and teenagers. If any group, club or individual needs more information or wants to help, please contact Sr. Helen in Bishop’s House or Fr. Youth 2000 Summer Festival

Clonmacnoise, Co. Offaly, Thursday 13th - 16th August 2009. This Festival is for young people aged 16-35 and its an opportunity not to be missed, to experience the Catholic faith and meet many new friends. Bishop Frank Caggiano, Vicar of Evangelisation in the Diocese of Brooklyn will be the main speaker. Donation only. Free buses available from around the country. Wexford Region Dyspraxia /DCD Parent Support Group

We are an informal group of like - minded parents and carers of children with Dyspraxia, who meet for a chat and a cup of coffee. Our next meeting is on Monday 24th August 2009.
