Youth 2000 Summer Festival -

Clonmacnoise, Co. Offaly, Thursday 13th - 16th August 2009. This Festival is for young people aged 16-35 and its an opportunity not to be missed, to experience the Catholic faith and meet many new friends. Kilmyshall /Bunclody Christian Summer Camp -

Trip to the National Aquatic Centre on Monday 3rd August leaving at 9.30 a.m. form Bunclody Church, back at 8.00 p.m. Please bring swimming gear and swim hat.


Walk & Mass:

On Sunday August 2nd from 9 Stones to T.V. Mast. We will gather at 9 Stones Car Park at 11.00 a.m. Everybody is Welcome.


Ferns Youth Festival 2009 :

At Our Lady’s Island on 29th August at 7 p.m. This festival has been organised by some of the young pilgrims who went to World Youth Day, in conjunction with some members of WYD committee. The evening will commence with Mass celebrated by Bishop Denis, after which there will be a candlelight procession around the island with our WYD Cross. This will then be followed by a free Christian rock concert by a very good band called "Elation". A barbecue will take place during the concert. It promises to be a very enjoyable evening for young adults and teenagers. If any group, club or individual needs more information or wants to help, please contact Sr. Helen in Bishop’s House or Fr. Wexford Region Dyspraxia /DCD Parent Support Group

We are an informal group of like - minded parents and carers of children with Dyspraxia, who meet for a chat and a cup of coffee. Our next meeting is on Monday 24th August 2009. Bunclody Library will close from Saturday 1st August - Monday 3rd August inclusive. Normal business will resume on Tuesday 4th August at 10.30 a.m.
