Eucharistic Adoration

..takes place in The Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Bunclody every Monday from 9.30am to 8pm.during the last hour of Eucharistic Adoration each Monday of Lent from 7.00pm to 8.00pm there will be a Holy Hour which will conclude with Benediction at 7.45pm. Please Note: this Holy Hour replaces The Fireside Reflection of Lent, the hour may include some scriptural reflection.


FRIDAY 7TH. MARCH:

..is the first Friday of March. Fr. Jones and Fr. Doyle will visit the sick and housebound of the Parish.


Ceremony of Light

There will be a Ceremony of Light on Monday 3rd. March at 7.30pm. in The Church of The Most Holy Trinity, for the children making their Confirmation, this year.

Confirmation will take place in the Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Bunclody Next Sunday, 9th March, at 12noon Mass.


The Mission:

..will be from the 7th March to 13th March, and will be conducted by the Franciscans of The Renewal.


Please Note:

The Lenten Penitential Service will take place in Bunclody during the mission, on Tuesday 11th of March.

Bunclody & District Active Retired:

There are six places still available on the tour to the Lake District. Total cost €570. Anyone interested can pay a deposit of €150 or at the Sunday School on any Thursday between 3pm. & 5pm. or by arrangement with Kay at 086-8867028 or Kathleen 087-9623132. people outside the Active Retired are welcome to travel on this trip. Monthly meeting Mon.3rd March in Redmonds, Main St. at 3pm.

..will stage "NOT NOW DARLING" by Ray Cooney and Ray Chapman in Spellman Hall, Kildavin, (Co. Carlow) on Sunday 2nd March at 8.00pm. In aid of Senior Citizens Come along for a night of live entertainment at its best.


Debs Dress Extravaganza:

..want to sell your used once debs dress or buy a new one. Come to our show on Sunday March 16th in the Ferrycarrig Hotel at 2pm. Tidy Town Public Meeting

will take place on Tuesday 4th March, at 8pm. in Redmond’s Lounge. It is important that the residents of Bunclody attend this meeting.


Food and Nutrition

(reading labels correctly) How many of us look at the back of food containers to see what nutrition value the product actually contains but have no idea what they are looking for? If you are one of those people then this information evening will be of great benefit to you. Deirdre Howlin (Senior Community Dietician with the HSE) will give a practical talk on how we can become label literate. Talbot Hotel - Tuesday 11th March - 7.30pm. Mass of Healing and Anointing of the Sick

This is especially for parishioners who have to carry the cross of suffering through illness. It will be on Wednesday afternoon 5th March, at 2.30pm. Refreshments will be served after the Mass. We encourage families to bring elderly or suffering members to the Church for this Mass.


World Day of Prayer

(International and Interdenominational )

Prepared by the Women of Guyana ‘God’s Wisdom Provides New Understanding.’ Will take place on Friday, 7th March 2008, in St. Mary’s Church, Bunclody, at 8pm. Men and women welcome.
